All Terrain Vehicle

Project Summary

Part of the team that built an All terrain vehicle during the sophomore and junior years of my college. We partcipated in SAE Baja-2017 and ESI-2017. I was a part of the Powertrain subdivison and understood the working of a Continously variable transmission. I also was able to take part in CVT tuning and understand about the other subcomponents from the more experienced members of the team. Being the first team from the college to take part in BAJA, we were able to take a significant step and serve as a stepping stone for future batches. This was when I gained expsoure to 3D CAD modelling, and it greatly interested me. This served as a good bit of motivation for me to learn 3D CAD packages like Solidworks, PTC Creo, CATIA. I also learnt and used simulation packages like ANSYS during this period.
